Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comThere seems to be a lot of information telling me that apricot trees don’t produce due to a late frost so I should plant late blooming trees. No one mentions which varieties are the late bloomers. Every site that sells trees list zones 5-9 which really tells me nothing regarding early or late bloomers. I live in the mountains of New Mexico that regularly gets late frosts. Which variety is the latest bloomer and would be the best for me to plant?

Your growing zone is 6b.
My research found these varieties would be good choices for your garden:
Nectar

Belle of Georgia
June Pride
O’Henry
Snow Beauty
Sun Crest

I would also recommend you contact your local County Extension Office for recommendations on your specific growing area.
