ALL of my houseplants are suddenly dying. What is going on?

Very suddenly, ALL of the plants in my bedroom have started dying. There are succulents, bamboo, a spider plant, a snake plant, and rhoeo. They lived for months to years (depending on which plant) just fine until the last month or so. In that time, my spider plant’s leaves suddenly turned brown and droopy and died. My snake plants leaves are splitting in the middle and are turning yellow-white. My bamboo leaves are turning yellow and my succulents are getting squishy (or crispy depending on which plant) and turning brown. My rhoeo plant is completely dead. I have no idea what’s going on. Every time I look on the internet it tells me “You’re over/underwater, not enough/ too much sunlight, blah blah blah.” Each plant exhibits different signs and when I’ve tried adjusting the water/ sun exposure/ drainage to what it seems to be telling me, their condition just gets worse. The only thing I could possibly think of is these houseplant fertilizer sticks I put in the soil a month or so back (not in the bamboo stock though, don’t worry.) but could fertilizer made more housplants actually just kill all of them (and with different symptoms in each plant)?

You have to be really careful with fertilizers. Every plant will have different needs. Can you include photos? There may be a way to save them unless it has progressed too far.

Plant sticks can be a bit harsh, so I don’t really recommend them for a general fertilizer, except for plants with very high feeding needs.

In the future, I would use specific fertilizers, which just about everyone makes one for most plants these days, to cut out any doubt. Many houseplants are easy to burn with improper feeding.
