Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI live in a apartment and been growing a jalapeno plant. recently I noticed little black ants (?) on my plant. i read online that you can spray a little bit of dawn dish soap mixed with water to get rid of them. after doing this all of my leaves fell off. is there any way my plant can recover?

Since you had ants it's possible the plant also had aphids. Your mixture may have been heavy on the dishwashing liquid. I would rinse them with more water, and hopefully, you will get some new growth.
