African Blue Basil Isn’t From Africa

I thought it was discovered in the 80s in Ohio. It was a hybrid found by a nursery. East African basil – which it is crossed with is from Africa.

You are correct. This article is about African basil, not African Blue, which is a hybrid of two basils as you say. I will let the editor know.
