eucalyptus seeds

I have a very large eucalyptus tree. I’ve read that you can grow additional ones in pots from the seeds. Where do the seeds come from? I don’t see any on my tree bark or foliage.

Most people prefer to acquire the seeds through seed companies, though you can harvest your own from the tree if it has flowered. Once the flowers fade, they leave behind seed pods, which can be harvested once ripened and used to grow additional eucalyptus trees.
