Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy blossom tree produced blossoms earlier this year but quickly lost the. We had a small showing of leaves but they soon died off too and have not returned. What’s wrong? Has my tree died? It is about 10-11 yrs old and about 15-16 ft high. Does it just need pruning?

It may or may not be dead, but certainly does sound like it is under stress. This article will help you determine if it is dead or just dormant due to stress:

If it is still alive, I would treat it with both a pesticide and a fungicide. Neem oil is nice because it is both of these so you get both kinds of treatments in one spray. Also, make sure the tree is getting enough water.
It is hard to say if the tree is dying from old age or not without knowing the exact breed. But, typically small ornamental trees live about 10-20 years.
