Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI live in south Texas around Galveston and we are very, very dry now in mid June. I have a bright purple myrtle that bloomed very well, but now it’s starting to lose its flowers. Can I just cut the old off now?

Yes, you can cut the flowers off. This will not harm the tree.
