ZZ Plant Has A Stem Resembling An Easter Lily Bud But It Isn’t — What Might It Be?

This particular stem has a kind of sap that was a precursor to this bud. I now have have another branch that is producing the same.

Congratulations! Your ZZ plant is blooming. it's not common in indoor plants to savor the moment. However, the sap may be a sign of an insect invasion.
