Q.Zucchini Stalk Rot

Anonymous added on June 29, 2011 | Answered

My zucchini stalks are rotting near the ground, resulting in the vegetables drying up shortly after starting to form. The vines appear healthy. The rot is an orange-yellow color. What is the problem, and how can I solve it?

Sounds like your plants could be infected by vine borers. Here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/zucchini/vine-borers-zucchini.htm
