Q.Zucchini Squash

Zone 3A | klggro added on July 5, 2015 | Answered

Wondering about my zucchini squash plants. Have planted then in pots, they are growing well, nice and green, healthy, and large! I live in Alberta, Canada and am in the 3a gardening zone.
We waited until the ground and soil were warming up and planted in May. No signs of flowering or blossoms yet…Wondering if I can get info and input on when to expect the flowers to come on? Thank you.

Most likely they have to much Nitrogen. This will cause lush green leaves and no flowers.

Phosphorous can be added. Bone Meal is a good way to do this.
