Q.zucchini has green and yellow fruits on it – don’t understand
The plant is getting zucchini on it now, but there are some that are yellow. Why is this?

Squash cross-polllinate easily with other squash, and appparently the seeds that you planted were intermingled with yellow straight-necked squash, which is closely related. Hopefully they both taste good -- you got lucky!
