Q.Zucchini

Anonymous added on May 27, 2014 | Answered

My new zucchinis grow about about 1 1/2″, turn yellow and seem to rot. What should I be doing? There is not full sun throughout the day at this time of year. Last year, half the fruit turned yellow before maturing.

It sounds like you are having pollination issues. When the flowers are not properly pollinated, the plant will reject the fruit while they are just a few inches long. You may need to hand pollinate.
