Zucchini

I have limited space in my garden. I purchased a single zucchini plant. I found in past certain plants like pumpkins and watermelon seem to require multiple plants to cross pollinate in order to produce fruit. Is that the same w/ zucchini?

Zucchini plants produce both male and female blooms and do not require additional plants for fruit production. However, they will need adequate pollination, so make sure there are plenty of flowers nearby to encourage pollinating insects and bees to visit the garden.
