Q.zucchini

Anonymous added on July 18, 2015 | Answered

My zucchini plants look great and have 8 to 10 small fruit on them. I picked one of the larger fruits and within a couple of days the plant begins dying. Any ideas? Thank you for any assistance.

It sounds like you may have injured the root system somehow, or you have had an infestation of a beetle type. The leaves and stalks of a zucchini are very tender and will not stand much abuse. You will have some natural dying off of leaves as the season goes on and nothing to worry about but if all of the leaves show dying then you have a problem such as mentioned before.
