Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI planted zoysia(emerald)plugs 1 foot apart in a diamond pattern. The plugs are doing well, but they aren’t spreading out. The soil is sandy and well tilled, but in direct sunlight. Should I wait or can I over seed for better results?

It would definitely be faster to put out more plugs than you originally planned, however, eventually they will take over either way. Make sure to keep this grass evenly watered for the first two years, and it will speed up the process a little.
