Zoysia Grass Plugs

Question

My husband and I are thinking of putting in zoysia plugs in our yard. I have read where they need to be placed about 12″ apart. How fast do they grow together?

I am sorry, I really can't give an answer to that. It depends on what kind of soil they are going into and what conditions they are growing under. But it does spread rather rapidly, so I would think it would be well covered in a few weeks. You may want to ask the company you are buying the plugs from to confirm that.
