Q.Zones Temperatures Range

Hi I live in Victoria, Australia, almost the bottom of The Great Divide, our average ranges of temp are -5C – 38C, so classed as cool climate. we do get down to -11 & up to 46C at times. We do have a shorter growing range so use covered areas, plus between 5 mountain ranges hence many wind farms locally. Am in a small 1/4 acre house block, not much space left, twisted block location for more sunshine. Having a temperature range for zones would help me adapt some US ideas. It is Australia, majestic, beautiful, lovely, yet harsh & unforgiving, call it The Land of The Long Dust Cloud, lol
