Zones

What \”zone\” is Los Angeles, CA in; specifically, the San Fernando Valley area which tends to be hotter in summer and colder in winter than the central area of the city.

Growing a tree from an avocado pit. Found an article from a link on your site and now that I want to print it out I can not find it. Was well done and illustrated. Help !

It looks like you are in zone 10a while other parts of Los Angeles are in zone 10b. Here is the USDA map of California:
