Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI was wondering if I plant different colored zinnias near each other and I want to save the seeds, can I count on those seeds to grow the same color as the parent plant? Or are they likely to cross pollinate?

I have had that success, that the seeds gow the same color as the parent plant. I grow different colors mixed in a small patch and gather seeds from the color I want. But I have also had a different color appear after some time, (yellow where red, purple and white were planted, etc.). So I assume they somewhat cross polllinate, but not totally.
