Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comCan I keep it outside in a covered area in Baton Rouge, Louisiana? It is too big to move indoors. We have some hibiscus and other tropicals that we keep outside. Sometimes move up towards the house and cover if there is going to be a hard freeze. I bring in Christmas cactus and Ixora, but the ZZ plant takes up a lot of space.

A ZZ plant will freeze and die if exposed to freezing temperatures.
The plant will do best in temperatures 60 to 75 degrees F.
