How much water should I give my yucca cutting planted outdoors while it is growing roots?

It won't need much water unless you've just planted it, and then maybe only once a month (just keep soil moist while establishing roots). Once the Yucca has been planted in the ground for at least a year, you will not need to water it but maybe once or twice during the summer, allowing the water to thoroughly soak into the ground with a soaker hose for a few hours.
