Q.Yucca Propagation

Anonymous added on July 18, 2015 | Answered

My outdoor yucca plant finally bloomed this year for the first time. The flowers have fallen off the flower stalk and there seem to be “pods” left on the stem. Are these “pods” seeds that can be planted to grow more yuccas? Thank you.

Yes, these are seedpods. Most people just discard it, but you can plant the seeds to get more yucca if you would like. This article can help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/foliage/yucca/propagation-of-yucca-plant.htm
