Yucca plant

My yucca has a broken branch and is hanging there almost like someone did it on purpose. Is there a cause for the branches to break naturally or has someone sabotaged my plant?

There are possible natural causes, including root rot and drought, as described in the following article:

If the branch is heavy enough, root rot or drought could cause it to bend over far enough to break.

Of course, this could also be caused by physical damage, whether by a person or an animal.
