Q.yucca cane plant

Zone Pineville | walbertaf77 added on October 24, 2017 | Answered

I recently repotted my 6yr old yucca cane plant and accidentally broke off one of the branches. Do I leave the broken area exposed or do I seal it? What should I do?

You can wipe the area clean with peroxide. That will stop any infection from starting. You can root this offshoot somewhat easily. This will give you a second plant! Here is an article that will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/foliage/yucca/propagation-of-yucca-plant.htm
