Can the yucca cane survive the winter in zone 7 – eastern Arkansas?

Yucca cane is hardy down to zone 9, so it may not survive the winter and would probably do better as a houseplant in zone 7. You can put the plant outside in its container during the summer and bring it inside for the winter.
