Young trees turning colors in August

We live in E. Washington. We planted 3 trees this last spring. 2 Maple and 1 Little Leaf Lindon. It is almost middle of Aug and they are starting to turn colors. We water them everyday and fertilized them last week. The threes sit in a swell. It has been a hot summer with alot of smoke in the air from Forrest fires. What do we need to do to help our trees?

Trees often start to change leaf color in excess heat and dry conditions.
Make sure you water slowly and deeply. Add 3 to 4 inches of hardwood mulch to aid in keeping roots cool and retain moisture levels.
