Q.Yellow Leaves on Outside Gardenia
First time for me to have a gardenia which was given to me at Christmas. It is now planted outside and has gone from deep green to very light green since planted and now has yellow leaves. I should mention I live in Florida and it is in direct sunlight. It is blooming but all the leaves are turning yellow. It was planted in the dirt from the ground and I have not fed it and don’t know what to use to fertilize. It is watered by way of sprinklers every few nights.
Can you help me? Thank you.

First of all, these shrubs prefer a little shade, especially in the afternoon when it's hottest outside. These articles should help with caring for your plant: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/gardenia/helping-a-gardenia-bush-with-yellow-leaves.htm
