yellow leaves from lettuce

I have noticed that there are a few yellow leaves from my lettuce. I am not sure if I should cut them with scissors, rip them off or just leave them. Can someone please advise what I should do?

Thank you.

You can cut the yellowing leaves from the lettuce. Do not rip them.
