Q.Yellow Leaves And Round Bodied Yellowish Insects On My Philodendron Broken Hearts
Hello, My philodendron plant was having yellow leaves, so I repotted it into fresh soil. It has been a few weeks now it is in its new pot, but again the leaves have started to turn yellow. Upon close inspection, I found some small yellowish round-bodied insects scurrying along the earth and stems of the plant, but cannot find any sign of infestation under the leaves or on the stems. Do you have any idea of what is causing the yellowing of this plant’s leaves? Thanks, Genevieve

There is, certainly, the possibility that the damage is due to the insects. I cannot see them in the photo, however, for ID. I could suggest to make sure that the soil does dry out very well between waterings. These plants tend to enjoy a good dry out between waterings.
