Yellow Leaves Bottom of Tomato Plant

I have two plants (Belgium Goliath and Yellow Pear). Both plants have leaves turning yellow near the bottom of the plant. Early in the spring I spaded up dirt and added horse manure to enrich soil. When I planted two months later, I noticed an abundance of worms in the soil, which I thought was a good thing. We have had an extremely wet spring (15+” of rain) in three months time. Could this be the problem? Should I remove the yellow leaves? Anything would help, also my cucumbers are getting the same problem.
