yellow leaves on gardenia

I have sprayed my gardenia with white oil, but still have a lot of yellow leaves. Will it hurt to dissolve Epsom salts and feed the plant?

First it may help to pinpoint the exact cause of the leaf yellowing. This article can help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/gardenia/helping-a-gardenia-bush-with-yellow-leaves.htm [1]

That said, Epsom salt is magnesium sulphate and will help prevent yellowing of the leaves in most cases. Use 1 tbsp. of Epsom salts per foot of height of gardenia.
