yellow leaves on desert rose

Question

I went away on vacation, only to come home and see many yellow leaves on desert rose and gardenia. Is it from lack of water or not enough fertilizer?

Probably lack of water. Don't despair, the plant will leaf out again. Don't over fertilize, these plants are slow growers, and do not appreciate being pushed.
