yellow hibiscus leaves treatment

Question

Is there a fertilizer, or other treatment, to stop my hibiscus leaves from yellowing? The plant faces west. It was turning yellow in the original nursery pot before I planted it in its permanent, larger pot on 6/9. I loosened the roots before repotting it. I have previously grown hibiscus in a large terrace pot each spring season and have had a slight amount color change as a regular ongoing process, but I have never had as much simultaneous color change as I see with this plant. Is it just a poor-quality plant beyond amelioration?
