yellow-flowering ice plant

The yellow-flowering ice plant that I put in early this spring is not flowering. What am I doing wrong? It receives direct hot sun for about 1/2 of each day.

Has it been fertilized? The soil could have too much nitrogen. This can be offset by giving the plant a phosphorus rich fertilizer or bone meal, which will help encourage flowering. Here is more information: [1]
