Yellow Cucumbers

Since yellow cucumbers can be a result of nutrient deficiency (as this site has told me), which nutrient is lacking? Many of my cucumbers are turning yellow as they ripen. Is there anything with which I can treat them?

It is most likely a nitrogen deficiency, but could also be iron.
