Year Round Bright Color Flowers For Zone 11b

I want to put 4-5 20 to 30 gallon tubs in between the established trees and bushes to bring out some real color where everything else is green. I am in Key West which is zone 11b and the ground on most of the property is terrible. I’m looking for something that likes the heat and may blooms most of the year. Bob
