Yard ants

I have a ton of ant hills in my yard, specifically after a rain and under trees but also in flower beds and in open yard. I’ve tried a borax mix and a vinegar mix. But they killed the grass. Any sprays I have used kill them but they just move to a new spot. Help! Sorry, I don’t have any pics.
