Xylosma leaves falling off – red veins

My Xylosma hedge is losing a lot of leaves, especially new growth (it’s spring in Sydney Australia). The leaves are getting red veins, which gets darker and wider.
We have just had a lot of rain over two weeks and the ground is soaked. But I’m not sure when the problem started. Attached is pictures of diseased leaves and hedge.

This is, actually, completely normal. These will redden as the shrub becomes mature.
