Q.Wrong Palm Was Planted By Landscaper & Roots Are Burrowing Near Pool Equipment, Spreading Widely. Will It Hurt The Pump Or Pipes?

The palm on the left is what I wanted & has been in for 5 years. Palm on the right, only 6 months & massive. Roots are burrowing under pool equipment wall & into pump area. Spreading with thousands of small thread like tentacles. Very shallow but strong. Should I have it removed? Don’t want trouble later.

I see what appears to be a dwarf palmetto, and what may appear to be a standard on the other side. Some of them grow VERY large. Out of caution, I would have it replaced or just removed.
