Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI would really like to plant Skypencil hollies as a privacy screen along the back edge of my property line but I recently discovered that there is an old gas line running right thru that area. The gas line runs back to a church behind my house. Are the root systems that invasive?

These are not known to be the least bit invasive. With this being said, it is still recommended to keep 5 feet away from anything important. Still, there are not many dangers from this root system.
