Q.Woody Lavendar

Zone 08361 7a | Trueriches21 added on August 13, 2018 | Answered

I had gotten a lavender plant this spring and it had one flower bloom on it, I haven’t seen any other bloom. I have it in pot and it had got woody in the middle. What is the best thing to do at this stage should I cut back, should I take cuttings from it to start over?

This will require restorative pruning in order to keep it from getting woody. This will help restore its flowering capacity. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/lavender/woody-lavender-plants.htm
