Wood Sorrel

Question

Any tips how to get rid of wood sorrel from the lawn. I’ve tried weed killer, scarifying and keeping the grass short, but northing seems to make any difference.

Oh that's a difficult one. They reproduce like wildfire, and spread underground. You have to make sure you kill the underground rhizomes. I do recommend hand pulling what you can before applying any treatment. Once you can't pull anymore, you can treat with a few different things. Boiling water and heat treating, or solarizing by covering with clear plastic, will be the least toxic to the soil. You can try vinegar solutions, but you'll want to be careful with that one.
