Q.plant gets limp during day, perks up in evening
Wondering why late in day plant gets all limp but early evening it perks up. It has plenty of water and is in full sunlight. It’s bout 18 inches high and has about five buds on it now, and see new blossoms.
Plants wilt during the hottest part of the day because the plant is losing moisture through its leaves faster than it can take up water through its roots. As the weather gets cooler in the early evening the plants do not transpire as much and bounce back.
