Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHello, My wisteria has cracks on one of the vines. So far the leaves look ok but I’m worried about all these cracks. Is this what’s called canker? Should we cut out the affected vine as much as we can? Any thing we can do to protect the rest of the plant?

This is normal in older vines. There is no need to worry unless you start noticing other distress. If you start noticing a decline, then a heavy pruning may restore the vine after a few years.
