Wisteria Stopped Blooming Mid Bloom

10 yr old wisteria has bloomed every year. This year as buds started to unfurl they stopped. Now wilted buds sit on vine when leaves should be showing. No leaves. Vine is alive (green when broken). Ever heard of this? Only water given is rain. No fertilizer given.

This can be caused by weather or it can be caused by fungus. Have you had cold snaps lately? This can kill the blossoms and very young leaves but leaves the rest of the plant unscathed. If this is the case, the plant will recover without any extra help. Or you could have a fungus. You can treat the plant with a fungicide to clear that up.
