Wisteria Pods

What do I do now that my wisteria tree has bloomed, dropped all the petals and now has many, many pods hanging down? They are now starting to drop all over my deck and are just as messy to clean up as the petals! The petals stuck to the deck a little more with rain though. Is it ok to trim them off and cut the shoots at this point in time, or do I have to wait and trim the shoots later on?

You can either prune the pods or leave them. Both will be fine and will not harm the plant. Here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/vines/wisteria/pruning-wisteria.htm [1]
