Q.Wisteria Flowers Weedy

Anonymous added on May 9, 2011 | Answered

First year of flowers (it is 3 years old) and it has over 40 flowers now starting to open, but they appear thin and weedy looking, not full and lush. Why?

It is mostly likely a lack of sufficient sunlight. Plants and their flowers will get "leggy" if they do not have enough sun. The other less likely possibility is a lack of phosphorus. You can add this to the soil with bonemeal.
