Wisteria Appears to Be Infested by a Bug Destroying the Vine

My wisteria was doing fine and now I find some of the vines dying off. Upon examination, there appears to be small holes chewed into parts of the vine. Could this be termites or a beetle bug of some sort killing the vine?
