Wisteria

Is it too late to cut back wisteria beginning December. If not how much cutting works to still get flower buds for spring
I’m in south France. Flowering is normally from early March.

You can prune these in mid-winter, as well as during the summer. I would say wit another month before pruning to make sure it is still in dormancy. The second pruning will be after the blooms drop.
