How deep do Wisteria roots get? Can they get into sewer lines? We had ours blocked with roots of some kind.

Though there are some differences in how aggressive American or Chinese Wisteria, you are still dealing with an aggressive vine. The root system is just as aggressive as the top of the plant.
Do not plant near wells, foundations and septic systems.
